I am a coffee-addict, do not wear plain socks - EVER, and my plant collection is maybe a tad-excessive!
I moved to Fort Mcmurray from BC shortly after I married my best friend almost 10 years ago. He fills my life with laughter, and we have three beautifully wild children. They are what inspired my hobby of photography years ago!

That hobby has turned into so much more as I took the leap into beginning my photography business in 2018. I had no idea what I was doing as far as marketing, contracts, and everything else business related but I knew I wanted to be able to capture those moments for others.
I have had the opportunity to learn and grow so much since then, especially in this last year. I am so thankful for each and every one of you who have supported my journey and I hope you love my new brand as much as I do!

why "olive + ember"?
Well, the simple answer is that olive is my favourite colour! But selecting it for the name to represent my brand goes a little deeper than that. Olive is the colour for peace, and evokes space, wisdom, and compassion for humanity. I hope to celebrate each of you just as you are, and learn something from every path I cross.
Ember because it is the perfect metaphor. If our lives are the flame, the photographs are the embers. As time goes on and those moments are in the past, the photographs will be there ready to spark the emotions and memories of the time we captured!
